The luncheon club is a service that the church offers to local elderly people from Presteigne and the surrounding area. It was set up to help the lonely and isolated elderly people who, do not as yet, require the specialist care that the East Radnorshire Day Centre provides. It has now been running for several years, and meets once a week, with 10 regular attenders.
It takes place on every Thursday at noon, and costs £3.50. This includes a 2 course meal followed by tea or coffee with plenty of time to chat. There are places available for more clients - please use the contact form on this web site if you are interested.
